#2 if spotify runs perfectly fine on an already present browser, than why voluntarily waste hundreds of MBs of harddisk space? #1 it looks almost the same as the web player, so in that regard I don't see any advantages in using the app over a browser. Here are my reasons for why I don't use the spotify app. Is there not somekind of a checklist for checking default browser settings for scenario's like this?
The other thing I can think off, is that perhaps I surfed to a certain website which screwed with certain browser settings which broke something.
To fix this problem, go to the settings and disable battery-saving mode. And that's why it often crashes in the background due to lack of Ram and Space. Under low-power saving mode, the app slows down to work on a substandard level. The first of which is the low power-saving mode.
Or as a vulcan would put it: "it would be the most logical explanation". Ans: Spotify pauses in the background primarily due to two reasons. It is just my theory that spotify did something to their services like an update and I have to update firefox or something. I am now so I can't give hardware stats, I also don't get how that is relevant as it has worked perfectly fine for over a year.
